COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is an introductory course on the inspection of distribution and collection system piping and connections with an overview of basic system design parameters. It examines the problems associated with improper installations and the importance of maintaining quality to maintain system integrity.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Employees currently working with contractors and/or crews during and after the installation and repair of Distribution and Collection systems.
PREREQUISITES: Basic math skills on a high school level are essential for the successful completion of this course.
COURSE LENGTH: This is a 15 hour (2 1/2-day) course that meets the training requirements set forth by the Certification Board.
CERTIFICATION RENEWAL POINTS: This course has been approved for 15 advanced training points or 6 certification renewal points.
