This course introduces basic troubleshooting of pump/motor systems & basic asset management. This course is the required training in order to sit for the GAWP Maintenance Technologist Class 3 certification. The GAWP Maintenance Technologist (MT) Certification program follows the same levels as the Association of Boards of Certification Plant Maintenance Technologist Certification. Upon completion, the student will be exposed to multiple best practices for repair and installation.

This course builds on all Maintenance Technologist Class 3 topics and introduces advanced troubleshooting of pump/motor systems & overall asset management. This course reviews the basic drinking water calculations that may be encountered on a drinking water treatment or distribution operator certification exam.

This class will review all the concepts relative to a Maintenance Technologist working in the water industry. We will be reviewing some of the course materials from the Class 3 and Class 2 courses with a focus on more advanced concepts of the highest certification level.

This class covers the basic math skills for both wastewater treatment and collection systems operators. It covers many of the basic types of problems that are found on several certification exams.
