This course is designed for anyone who is interested in obtaining a GAWP Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester Certification. This course is a classroom/hands-on course. This should NOT be used for continuing education points. All students will be required to pass the hands-on proctored exam in order to receive certificate of completion. Certificate of completion will not be issued to students that do no pass all three hands-on proctored exams.

The GAWP Maintenance Technologist (MT) Certification program follows the same levels as the Association of Boards of Certification Plant Maintenance Technologist Certification. Upon completion, the student will be exposed to multiple best practices for repair and installation.

The student will be given hands on opportunities to generate laboratory data where they will determine if the quality of the data would be admissible under a QA/QC program. Upon completion of this course, the student will have a better understanding of identifying proper laboratory data consolidation procedures.
