This course is for any treatment operator that wants to broaden their understanding of the movement of water and its control. Basic math problems related to water hydraulics are discussed in class. Upon completion, the student should have a greater understanding of major contributors to head loss and basic fluid dynamics.

This course is for anyone in a front-line supervisory position, that wants to broaden their management and leadership skills. The class includes discussions on planning, organization, finances, communication, etc.

This class focuses on the many approved analytical methods for the analysis of nitrogen in both drinking water and wastewater, as well as some troubleshooting of those methods. Upon completion, the student will be exposed to terminology and concepts that will are expected to be utilized by a certified Georgia water and wastewater laboratory analyst.

This training is intended to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to collect field data and handle water samples with a comparable level of rigor as a certified lab technician. The intended audience is individuals whose professional duties require them to periodically collect surface water quality field data and samples for lab analysis, but collection and sampling may not be their primary duty.
